YBCO reinforced Cu matrix composites were prepared by hot-pressed sintering（HPS）

and effects of the different YBCO content on the structure and properties of copper-matrix composites

such as electric conductivity

density

hardness

were approached.The results indicate that with a lower YBCO content

YBCO particle is distributed uniformly in the matrix

while with high YBCO content

the agglomerates occurs.With the increase of the YBCO content

the electric conductivity and density are decreased

and the hardness is firstly increased and then decreased.With 3% YBCO content

the maximum hardness value can be observed.
