Abstract
The aluminum foams with uniform pore structure
different densities and apertures were fabricated using pure aluminum as raw material
calcium powder as tackifier
TiH2 as foaming agent
and by controlling calcium and TiH2 content as well as foaming temperature.The fabrication process is stable and easy to be controlled and adjusted.The optimized process parameters for the aluminum foam with pore aperture less than 1.2mm are presented as follows:the tackifying temperature of 850
