Defect-free solidification of the ZL205A mount casting was achieved by temperature field simulation

gating system design and chilling material selection. The quenching size deformation was controlled by manufacturing heat treatment equipment combining with static pressure size correction process

reducing geatly the size deformation after heat treatment. Mechanical properties and size test results of single sample show that the whole properties meet or exceed the beacon standards

reaching the design requirements.
