Effects of mixed rare earth La and Ce modification on microstructure of the recycled ADC12 alloy were observed with the different mixed rare earth addition by OM(optical microscope)and XRD(X-ray diffraction)and DSC.The modification effects and mechanism of the mixed RE on the recycled ADC12 alloy were described.The results indicate that the rare earth modification can greatly drop the porosity and size of α-Al as well as silicon phase in the recycled ADC12 alloy.With the addition of 0.3%
