The impact and abrasive wear experiments of ZTA/YL302 composites prepared by squeeze infiltration were conducted. The surface morphology of the composites before and after experiment was observed by optical microscopy (OM)and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results indicate that the porosity percentage of ZTA preform reaches 40%

5% with the matrix alloy YL302. Compared with that of the YL302 alloy
the wear resistance of the composite prepared is increased by three times
however
the impact toughness is decreased slightly. The impact toughness of the composites in as-cast state(F) is slightly higher than that in T6 state
and the wear resistance is better than that in T6 treated one.
