A cylindrical bulk metallic glass Cu44.25Ag14.75Zr36Ti5 with a diameter of 3 mm was prepared by copper mold casting method.X-ray diffraction(XRD) analysis indicates that the sample exhibits totally amorphous state.By means of X-ray diffractometry(XRD) and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)
the crystallization behavior of amorphous Cu44.25Ag14.75Zr36Ti5 alloy was observed.The first and second crystallization activation energy of bulk metallic glass were determined by the Kissinger plot method and Ozawa plot method.The results show that the bulk metallic glass of Cu44.25Ag14.75Zr36Ti5 has good thermal stability.After crystallization treatment with the heating rates of 10 ℃/min
the crystal phases are mainly composed of Cu8Zr3 and Cu10Zr7.
