The microstructure and properties of ZG40Cr25Ni20steel with 5%Al
0.6%Ti and 0.6%W after solution treatment were investigated.The results indicate that the tensile strength of ZG40Cr25Ni20is increased with the addition of alloying elements
and the elongation is decreased to about 11%of the ones before addition
which presents brittle fracture.However
the high temperature elongation is increased significantly with many dimples and tearing edges existing on the tensile fracture surface
and high toughness at high temperature is presented.With the addition of Al
Ti and W elements
after 1 200℃×5hoil cooled
the hardness is increased further due to the formation of Ni
3
Al phase and TiC and WC particles with high hardness and high stability
where the wearresistance at room temperature and 600℃dry friction condition are improved.
