the casting process of lower cylinder block was analyzed
and the general process of using local extrusion technology to solve the problems of gas hole and crystal shrinkage was expounded. Firstly
the local extrusion position was determined to be the hot spot
and then the extrusion cylinder was determined by the appropriate extrusion pressure. Secondly
the volume of local extrusion was estimated
and the distance and diameter of extrusion rod was calculated. Finally
the delay time and duration of local extrusion was presented by the liquid-solid coexistence time. The results show that the reasonable use of local extrusion technology can effectively reduce the shrinkage volume.
