Cu-2 Ag alloy rod billet with a diameter of 15 mm was fabricated by vacuum continuous down-drawing casting and electromagnetic stirring process. The influence law of electromagnetic stirring on microstructure and Vickers hardness of Cu-2 Ag alloy under different parameters were investigated. The results indicate that the grain size of the solidification microstructure of the alloy is decreased gradually with the increase of stirring frequency.The refinement effect of the alloy structure is desirable under the current of 280 A
and the hardness of alloy is changed obviously with frequency. Compared with that at the drawing speed of 6 mm/min
the Vickers hardness of the alloy specimen is increased at the drawing speed of 4 mm/min. Under different drawing speeds and current intensities
the Vickers hardness reaches the maximum when the stirring frequency is 50 Hz.
