hardness and electrical conductivity of Cu-6 Ag alloy were investigated and compared with those of specimens subjected to single-stage precipitation aging. The results indicate that the optimal pre-aging time is 8 h. Meanwhile
the size of precipitates has no obvious change
where the spacing of precipitates are decreased compared with that of the single-stage aging specimens
leading to an increase of hardness by 9.4 HV. However
effects on the electrical conductivity can be neglected.
