The research progress in ceramic cores for fabricating hollow blades of turbine engines additive manufactured by photocurable 3 D printing at home and abroad was reviewed. The performance requirements and preparation difficulties of ceramic hollow blade cores were analyzed. Aiming at the problems including shrinkage
deformation and cracking in the process of photocurable 3 D printing additive manufacture for ceramic core preparation
the research status of slurry preparation
curing mechanism
degreasing
sintering process control and other aspects were reviewed
and the solutions were discussed. On this basis
the development of photocurable additive manufactured ceramic core was prospected combined with development trend of hollow blade of turbine engine. Photocurable 3 D printing ceramic core fabricated by hollow blade of turbine engine is considered as an important direction of future development.
