high entropy alloys with different Fe contents were tested and analyzed by metallographic microscope

X-ray diffraction（XRD）

scanning electron microscope（SEM）

energy dispersive spectrometer（EDS） and universal tensile testing machine. The results indicate that the microstructure of Fe

x

（CoCrNiV）

100-x

high entropy alloy is characterized by dendrite or lamellar structure.With the increase of Fe content

the phase structure of the alloy is transformed from FCC+intermetallic compound（σ phase） to FCC+BCC+σ phase

then to FCC+BCC phase

and finally to BCC single phase. When x=50

the comprehensive strength and toughness of alloy are desirable

where the tensile strength reaches 857.3 MPa

and the total elongation reaches 39.4%.
