conductivity and microstructure of as-cast and aged Cu-xCr-0.15 Zr(x=0.8~2.0) alloy were analyzed by means of hardness tester
eddy current conductivity tester
scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscope. The results reveal that the hardness and conductivity of the aged Cu-xCr-0.15 Zr alloy are significantly higher than those of the as-cast alloy. As the Cr content increases from 0.8% to 2.0%
the hardness
tensile strength and conductivity of the aged Cu-xCr-0.15 Zr alloy are increased firstly and then decreased. When the Cr content is 1.0%
the conductivity
hardness and tensile strength reach up to 48.37 MS/m
138 HB and 617 MPa
respectively
which is mainly related to the dispersive precipitation of nano-sized CuZr
