Dimensional deviation of fillet is an important factor in wax mold preparation
shell preparation and casting solidification in investment casting
which affects the dimensional accuracy of castings. A fillet model with 5 inner chamfers and 1 outer chamfer was designed
and KC3898 NRR wax was used to fill the wax mold and prepareceramic shells.The K423

K438 superalloy castings were poured
and Geomagic Control software was conducted for deviation analysis of fillet radius dimension. The deviation of the fillet radius dimension during the preparation of wax molds is in range of 3% to 30%
and the thermal expansion correction range of the ceramic shell is 2%~8%. Among the three alloys
castings poured by K438 superalloy exhibit the smallest fillet radius dimension deviation.
