The finite element models including solidification with mold and ultra-high temperature demoulding were established in DEFORM-3D simulation software.Ingots with a certain liquid core were prepared and analyzed based on the simulation of the solidification process.The distributions of the temperature field under various ingot molds were presented
where the solidus and liquidus temperature of the material were used to distinguish the dimension of the solid-phase region
the liquid-phase region and the solid-liquid two-phase region.The influence law of different ingot molds on the position and the dimension of those regions was revealed.Moreover
a series of new ingot molds were designed based on the simulation analysis of solidification process of liquid core ingot
providing theoretical reference for practical production.
