Complex brass has been widely used in the manufacture of wear-resistant components in the marine and automotive industries
especially synchronizer gear rings in the automotive field
due to its high mechanical strength and excellent wear resistance.The research status and microstructure characteristics of high-strength complex brass were reviewed
and the influence of the matrix structure
the types
morphology
distribution
and volume fraction of the second phase on the properties of the alloy were described in depth.Several methods to improving the mechanical properties of materials were listed
hoping to play apositive guiding role in the development and improvement of the complex brass.
