and damping behavior was analyzed by using dynamic thermal analyzer(DMA)
and its high-temperature damping mechanism was described. The results reveal that the high temperature damping mechanism of the alloy is divided into two main stages: the elastic damping stage and the microplastic damping stage. The damping in the elastic damping stage is attributed to the combined action of the grain boundary damping mechanism and the dislocation damping mechanism. The activation energy of the grain boundary can be described by the Arrhenius formula. The damping mechanism in the microplastic deformation stage is mainly the frequency-dependent microplastic damping mechanism.
