The effects of Co addition on the electrical conductivity
hardness and corrosion resistance of Cu-Ni-Si alloy were investigated. The results show that the electrical conductivity of alloy is increased by adding 0.1%Co
and the excessive addition of Co leads to the decrease of electrical conductivity. The hardness and corrosion resistance in 3.5%NaCl aqueous solution of specimens are gradually enhanced with the increase of Co addition. By adjusting the amount of Co addition and the aging time
the adjustable range of hardness is 200~266 HV and that of electrical conductivity is 17.40~26.10 MS/m.
