The shell structure of centrifugal pump is complex with nine external stiffeners and inside seven blades.The wax injection and casting process design are difficult problems in investment casting process.Numerical simulation and analysis were carried out on the wax injection process of centrifugal pump shell.The forming of wax pattern was realized by split wax pattern assembly.The flow field
isolated liquid phase region and shrinkage distribution of centrifugal pump shell were simulated and analyzed by the ProCAST software
and the casting process was optimized to improve the qualified rate of centrifugal pump shell.
