Internal defects such as porosity and shrinkage are generated easily in A356 aluminum alloy wheel during manufacturing process
and the separation of defect areas in X-ray inspection is always a difficult problem.An interactive analysis method for defect extraction from hub was presented by mathematical morphology top-hat transform preprocessing
mouse selection of target area and fixed threshold segmentation.The experimental results show that the proposed technical scheme is feasible and can meet the requirements of X-ray detection of internal defects in the wheel hub.
