mechanical properties and microstructures of Al-Si-Cu alloys were investigated by metallographic

liquidity and tensile test.The results show that the fluidity and mechanical properties of Al-Si-Cu alloy can be enhanced and the grain size can be refined by adding proper amount of RE.Al-Si-Cu alloy has the desirable modification effect with the RE content of about 0.4%
