Titanium alloy intermediate casing is a typical large components with many thin-walled and complicated structures.In the trial stage
it is a high cost and time-consuming process to manufacture the wax pattern of intermediate casing by mold.The molten pattern forming technology based on the principle of 3 Dprinting could solve effectively this problem.The selective laser sintering(SLS)technology was used to realize the rapid prototyping of the polystyrene molten pattern in the precision casting of the intermediate casing.The casting process of the intermediate casing and the shrinkage defects were simulated by ProCAST software.The titanium alloy intermediate casing with excellent metallurgical quality and size accuracy CT7 was prepared by centrifugal casting technology.
