Because the velocity parameters in the low speed stage of aluminum alloy high pressure casting were basically set by experience of technicians

and the quality of the product was fluctuated greatly.Taking the die casting process of an oil cooler of a certain automobile part as an example

the DOE optimization function of casting simulation MAGMASOFT was used to reduce air pressure and entrapped air mass inside the casting

and to improve the filling performance as well as carrying out a multi-group virtual experiment on the low speed injection of the casting.By using the computer simulation operation

the results were compared and the optimized low speed injection were presented.The results show that the internal quality of the oil cooler exhibits desirable

and the stability of die casting process was guaranteed and the economic benefit was improved.
