through analysis of process parameters related to solidification feeding when porosity defects appear in product

it is found that chamber quality has a serious effect on the product quality.The results reveal that the pressure transfer process through plunger can be weakened if the chamber inner cavity is stuck with aluminum and result in the increase of surface roughness of chamber inner surface

therefore hotspots area of product is difficult to be fed by gating system

and the shrinkage porosity will appear.In addition

real-time monitoring system of automatic production equipment is helpful to feedback abnormal operation of equipment

however it’s not possible to accurately feedback the influence of resistance change of the punch on the oil pressure during injection and pressure holding process

therefore systematic management of chamber quality is very important to quality control.
