The die casting technology for adjustable pitch propeller blade was designed.The technological scheme was adopted of top injection center ring pouring system and overflow slot
slag collecting and exhausting channel.The simulated results of filling and solidifying temperature field by ProCAST software show that the scheme is reasonable and feasible.With shrinkage volume as the evaluation index
the optimum process parameters are presented as follows:pouring temperature of 720 ℃
the pouring speed of 30 m/s
the filling pressure of 100 MPa and mold temperature of 220 ℃.Under the optimized parameters
the adjustable pitch propellers have the satisfied quality with smooth surface and absence of obvious defect
