microhardness and anti-friction properties of hypomonotectic alloys were analyzed.The results reveal that Cu-20 Pb hypomonotectic alloys are mainly composed of matrixα-Cu andβ-Pb.The hypomonotectic alloy prepared under conventional condition presents large grain size with segergated structure

coarse dendritcs with less uniformity.By compound field

the segregation of hypomonotectic alloy can be inhibited

so dendrite is fined and densified with satisfied uniformity

and the grain size is decreased by 70.1%.Microhardness test reveals that the hardness of Cu-20 Pb hypomonotectic alloy under the compound field is increased by 29.68%.The frictional-wear test shows that the Cu-20 Pb hypomonotectic alloy alloys prepared under compound field has the lower friction coefficient and wear rate with desirable wear resistance.
