The high temperature creep behavior of the fine-crystal NbCr
2
/Cr alloy with composition Cr-12 Nb(in atomic)was carried out by compression tests at constant stress. The results show that the minimum creep rate is increased with increasing in stress and deformation temperature.Slipping in the Cr matrix and twinning in the Laves phase NbCr

are the main modes of creep deformation for the alloy. The decrease of the creep resistance is attributed to dynamic recrystallization of Cr matrix and synchroshearing of NbCr
