The structure and process design of the ZL205 Aframe casting were described
and the filling field
temperature distribution field
thermal stress and strain field during the solidification process were simulated by the FDM and FEM method.The gravity filling process of ZL205 Aframe casting was determined by the optimization of the T5 heat treatment process parameters and the location as well as size of reserved hole.The results show that the solidification sequence from inside to outside can be realized in the solidification process
and the peak value of thermal stress is 47.17 MPa.In addition
the average tensile strength
yield strength and elongation of the samples reach 510 MPa
402 MPa and 6.8%
respectively
after the T5 heat treatment
which meets the GB/T 9438-1999 technical requirements.
