Laser additive manufacturing can fabricate metal parts with complex structure and excellent performance
which provides a new way for complex parts manufacturing of the aerospace
military and other areas.However
the internal stress in cladding layers caused by transient melting/solidification tends to make distortion and cracking
which becomes the bottleneck problems of the technology.The research status of auxiliary laser additive manufacturing technology was descirbed to solve the internal stress problem of forming metal parts
and technical characteristics and advantages were analyzed.It is meaningful to solve the tensile stress of metal parts fabricated by laser additive manufacturing.
