Application of 3DP and SLS sand core(mould)3D printing technology has been researched in railway castings.Sand samples were printed by two technology
and properties were tested.Coupler knuckle cores were printed using two technology
and casting experiment has been carried out.The results show that compressive strength and gas evolution of the 3D printed sand cores can meet casting production requirements.Both two 3D printing technology can produce coupler knuckle cores efficiently without casting mould
and coupler knuckles have precise size and smooth surface.
