process performance and safety performance.The results show that all the experimental materials belong to colorless with the highest brightness for CoCrMo alloy and the highest chromatic value for TaC system carbide.The five materials have excellent corrosion resistance in the artificial sweat
especially the highest corrosion potential for TA2 while the lowest for tungsten carbide.The higher hardness of the material presents the lower wear weightlessness rate in the wet erosion test
accordingly the glossiness on jewelry surface can be kept the longer.316 L
TA2 and CoCrMo alloy can adopt a variety of forming processes
in which 316L and TA2 alloy are more suitable for setting ornamental stones directly
and they can be colored by anodic oxidation process
by contrast
tungsten carbide and TaC system carbide can only be formed by powder metallurgy and linear cutting
which are unsuitable for setting stones directly.TA2 and CoCrMo alloys have the desirable biocompatibility among them.
