Effects of surface processing on microstructure of single crystal turbine blade were investigated by the means of OM(optical microscopy)
SEM(scanning electron microscopy).The results indicate that microstructure of recrystallization in solid solution treatment samples after surface processing can be observed in all surface of specimens and the thickness of recrystallization zone layer is 20 to 75μm
and most of the recrystallized grain size is approximately 0.5mm.The surface of turbine blade in solid solution treatment is absence of recrystallization after surface processing.The cellular microstructure of specimen with solid solution treatment can be observed in surface and the thickness of cellular layer is in range of 2to 14μm after surface processing and aging treatmert.
