Effects of different ultrasonic vibration temperature on microstructure and mechanical properties of ZL114 Aalloy were investigated by optical microscopy

tensile testing

and the fracture morphology of alloy was observed by scanning electronic microscopy（SEM）.The results reveal that the ultrasonic vibration temperature can affect greatly microstructure and mechanical properties of ZL114 Aalloy.With the increase of ultrasonic vibration temperature

the solidification structure of alloy is converted from the developed dendrite to the columnar dendrite

and finally to the dendrite.The lower or higher ultrasonic vibration temperature can weaken refinement effect.The optimized ultrasonic vibration temperature is 700 ℃

so the desirable comprehensive mechanical properties are presented

where the tensile strength and elongation of ZL114 A alloy reach 289 MPa and 4.62%

respectively.The fracture mechanism of alloy is characterized by ductile fracture with a large number of dimples.
