/Mg)composites were fabricated by liquid-solid extrusion directly combining with vacuum infiltration technique. The effects of different cooling rate on the carbon fiber
hardness and ultimate tensile strength of C
f
/Mg composites were analyzed. The experimental results reveal that a higher cooling rate can reduce the damage of carbon fiber
relief the interface reaction
and improve the ultimate tensile strength(UTS)and hardness of the composites prepared. The tensile strength of 2D-C
f
/Mg composites with T700 carbon fiber can reach 450 MPa.
