on quality of ADC12 recycling billet produced by chip solid pressing(CSP)were investigated by Taguchi method and design of experiment(DOE).Optimization of processing parameters was carried out on the basis of the signal-to-noise ratio(S/N)and analysis of variance(ANOVA)of experimental results.Then the validity of the method and its confidence interval were confirmed by the verification test.The results show that optimized process parameters are presented as follows:pressing temperature of 250 ℃
pressing pressure of 640 MPa and holding pressure time of 47 s.
