Tungsten oxide nanowires were prepared by solvothermal method with the WCl6 as the precursor
the ethanol as the solvent and PVP as the surface activity agent. The nanowires were characterized by X-ray diffraction
scanning electron microscopy
transmission electron microscopy and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy and selected area electron diffraction.Tungsten oxide morphologies were modified through changing the PVP addition. The growth mechanism of tungsten oxide nanowires and the morphology changed were analyzed.
