The Cr2O3-16TiO2 coating was fabricated by high efficiency plasma spraying technology.The properties
such as micro-hardness
microstructure
were measured.Results show that the Cr2O3-16TiO2 coating is deposited with high density
and the micro-hardness of the coating reaches 1 440HV0.3and the porosity is about 1.6%
measured by image analysis(IMA)method.The SEM results show that the coating is composed of Cr2O3 and mainly TiO2 analysis by EDS and XRD.Under the condition of oil lubrication
the friction coefficient of the coating is increased with the increase of the loading
and the main wear mode is characterized by contact fatigue with apparent surface scratches.
