Abstract
There are many advantages to produce the aluminum alloy housing castings by digital precision forming technology without pattern.Based on the structure characteristics of complex housing castings
the flow field and temperature field in casting process and the casting process were designed and optimized by simulation software.Combined with the digital forming technology without pattern casting
a systematic
fast and low cost process for new product development from product process design to real casting was established.The process integrates the CAD/CAE/CAM technology without the mold any more
which can decrease the development period and reduce the rejection rate.
