Influences of the morphology of solid-liquid interface during the heating process were analyzed with the 20 steel and 2036 aluminum alloy as solid material and with the Al-13 Si aluminum alloy as liquid material. The experimental results show that before the solid layer of liquid alloy is solidified
the interfacial heating transferring is dependent on the characteristics of solid material. In addition
the contacted condition of solid-liquid interface plays a positive role in interfacial heating transferring effects. After the solid phase layer is solidified
the heating effect is dependent on the latent heat during solid phase layer growth. When the interface of the solid phase was melted
the melting speed of interface and latent heating exhibits a observedly role on temperature of the solid phase.
