失圆是金属型铸造磨球除研磨失效、破碎失效外的另一种失效形式

常表现为两种形状:馒头状和鸭梨状。失圆主要原因包括铸造组织缺陷、外形缺陷和后期修磨等

可以通过铁水精炼、改变磨球几何外形和规范修磨工艺等措施解决。

Out-of-round is one of the failure types of grinding ball in the metal mold casting besides of abrasion and fragmentation failure

which has two types of the shape of steamed bread and pear. Microstructure defects

appearance defects during casting and grinding during working process are responsible for the failure. Through refining molten iron

changing geometric shape of grinding ball and standard specification of polishing

the out-of-round defects of the grinding ball can be eliminated.
