An exploratory investigation to study the meehanical properties of Al 6% Zn-0.5%Mg Alloy thin-sectioned investment castings in plaster moldshas been made in this paper Gas pressure up to 10 atmosphere were applied and maintained for certain time during solidification It shows that pressur may be contyibute to impede or prevent shrinkage and gas porosity
so that the mechanical properties of the alloy remarkable are increased.
