A ceramic slurry bound by aluminium phosphate and hardened by metallurgical magnesite calcined （passivation） has been developed. A 3Cr2W8V steel hot pressing die has been produced by using this slurry

and the application of this die in a production line is satisfactory. It suggests that the inorganic phosphate slurry used for ceramic casting is not only possible but also advantageous.
