Testing technique of strength and deiormation resistance ot EPC coating was discussed. Some factors affecting coating strength

such as refractory and binder

were studied.The deformations （deflection value） of the patterns with different coatings were measured under different loads.The ex- perimental results show that the coating has higher strength contained PVA organic binder than con- tained colloidal silica inorganic binder at room temperature.Increasing properly coating thickness is helpful to resist the pattern deformation.
