The mathematical model for simulating the magnetic field generated by rotating permanent magnets in the electromagnetic caster is built
and the distribution of magnetic field generated by straight induction stirrer(six poles three couples
eight poles two couples
eight poles four couples
twelve poles three couples
twelve poles six copules) is simulated and analyzed. Furthermore
the character of magnetic field generated by helical induction stirrer is discussed. Meanwhile
thoroughly taking advantage of the verge of powerful magnetic field beyond the critical pint generated by helical induction stirrer with more magnetic poles are put forward to reinforce the effect of stirring.
