The mechanical properties and wear resistance in the oil lubricated condition for alloys Zn25%AlX%Cu were studied. It was found that with increasing of the copper content ultimate tensile strength of alloys gradually increased up to the maximum value 369 MPa with the copper content 6.64% while the elongation of the alloy Zn25%Al2.24%Cu had the maximum value 14.1% with 2.24%Cu. The elongation of alloys decreased in an excess above 2.24% copper. The hardness change of alloys was opposed to the elongation variation and the hardness of the alloy Zn25%Al2.24%Cu had the minimum value (HB98). No εphase appear in interdendrite zones of the alloy Zn25%Al0.62%Cu
but εphases appeared in interdendrite zones of the alloy Zn25%Al2.24%Cu and increased with increasing of the copper content. With increasing of the copper content the wear resistance of alloys gradually increased.
