The technology of grinding ball by centrifugal casting
the rotational speed
the method for calculation of ingate area and factors influencing technological process were introduced. It is suggested to apply the principle of effective gravity and equivalent pressure head to calculate the rotational speed and ingate area in the processing of grinding ball by centrifugal casting. The grain size in the ball attained up to 6-7 degree and the hardness was uniformly distributed
when the rotational speed within the range 500-700 r/min and each ingate area is not as low as 0.4 cm 2. The moltion law of molten metal in the rotational gate was analysed.
