The K 2O·6TiO 2 whisker reinforced ZA 27 alloy composites have been prepared by technique of squeeze casting process. The microstructures in the interfaces of the composites were investigated by Transmission Electron Microscope(TEM). Tensile strength and hardness of the composites were determined. The results show that composite obtained has a uniform whisker distribuction without any porosity. The whisker and ZA 27 matrix has well bonded interface that two interfaces morphologies between K 2O·6TiO 2 whisker and the matrix of Zn Al alloy. The hardness of the composites significantly increases with the increasing of the volume fraction K 2O·6TiO 2 whiskers.
