摘要

介绍了磁流体力学的发展、应用过程，通过流动磁场与熔融金属的相互作用揭示了磁流铸造的原理；在国内外磁流铸造研究应用的基础上，总结了磁流铸造的技术特点；在与压铸比较的基础上，讨论了磁流铸造的主要优点及其应用范围和前景。

Abstract

In this paper

the development and process of application of Magnetohydrodynamics（MHD） were introduced

and the principle and characteristic of the MHD\|Castings were revealed through the interaction of the travelling electromagnetic field with molten metal. On the basis of the comparison of the MHD\|Casting with die\|casting

in combination with the present research and application of the MHD\|Casting in domestic and foreign countries

especially with the experimental results obtained by HIT

the principle advantages and fields of application and the prospect of the MHD\|Casting were briefly discussed.\=
