The curved ceramic lined pipes have been produced by gravitational separation SHS method in combination with rotating technology. Based on SiO 2 addition the influences of NaF additive on synthesis process
structure and properties of curved pipes have been investigated. It is obtained that NaF in the form of Na 3AlF 6 cryolite structure and Na 2SiO 3 monocline structure exist at the boundary of ceramic dendrite with tight fineness because of constituent undercooling. Acting as a diluent during thermite combustion process
NaF will reduce the combustion temperature and propagation rate; During ceramic solidification NaF promotes ceramic densification through reducing crystallization temperature and dynamic viscosity of the melts.
