The wear characteristcs of both ZL109 alloy/boron alloyed compacted graphite iron and composite/boron alloyed compacted graphite iron rubbing pairs were investigated under different environmental and heat\|treated conditions by using MLD\|10Wear testing machine. The results show that
under the condition of oil lubrication
the composite after T\-6 treatment exhibits excellent wear resistance compared with the ZL109 alloy. The composite fafter over\|aged treatment enjoys better wear resistance than the composite after T\-6 treatment. While the wear mass loss of boron compacted graphite iron in friction pair with the composite is much lower than that with ZL109 alloy
